About Department
The Department of Mathematics offers various courses in Pure and Applied Mathematics under the Four-Year B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated programme. Various activities, seminars and workshops focused on Mathematics as well as its applications are conducted for the students. An intra-collegiate math-fest titled ‘Exponent’ is organised every year to commemorate National Mathematics Day. Students also have the option to take up project work in their third year.
With a Four-Year B.Sc.B.Ed. Degree in Mathematics, students can pursue teaching roles in schools or even proceed to complete their post-graduation in Mathematics, enabling them to pursue teaching roles in HEIs. The study of Mathematics gives an edge to students to qualify in various competitive examinations as well.
