An awareness session on Deaf and Indian Sign Language (ISL)

An awareness session on Deaf and Indian Sign Language (ISL) was conducted by the Goa Association of Deaf on 25th September 2026 on the occasion of International week of Deaf people and International Day of Sign Language. The resource persons spoke on Indian Sign Language (ISL) and also taught some common words along with alphabets and numbers in sign language. They were accompanied by Ms. Muskan Sheikh a Sign Language interpreter from Goa University.
