Chemistry
About Department
B.Sc.B.Ed. Chemistry programme is a core branch of chemical science which has been designed for the students to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in different disciplines of chemistry. It is a 4-year integrated programme. It comprises of theory and laboratories courses along with the laboratory course as well as skill enhancement course.
The curriculum of this programme is designed according to the current needs of the society and provides a broader view of the discipline. After the completion of this course each student would gain knowledge in the different areas of Chemistry viz Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and other applied Chemistry areas. B.Sc.B.Ed. Chemistry, graduates can either go for higher studies or may get job opportunities as a pharmaceutical chemist, forensic scientist, and geochemist.
