A One-Day Hands-on Floral Craft Workshop ‘BloomCraft’
The Entrepreneurship and Startup Development Cell (ESDC) in collaboration with the Alumni Committee, organised BloomCraft, a hands-on floral craft workshop led by Ms. Akanksha Terane, alumna (2022–2026). Students explored the art of creating decorative floral products using craft materials while learning about product pricing, profitability, sales strategies, sustainable alternatives, and ways to expand craft-based ventures. The session encouraged students to look beyond creativity and explore how their skills could be transformed into home-based entrepreneurial opportunities and startup ideas. The guest was welcomed by Ms. Kavita Nair, IQAC Coordinator, while the Principal Dr. Pandurang Pandit presented a memento as a token of appreciation and highlighted the college’s commitment to welcoming more entrepreneurship-oriented ideas and workshops. The programme was compered by Yuvratni Naik, with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Gouresh Naik. Supravi Desai facilitated the arrangement of session, while Mr. Ratnesh Shirodkar undertook the overall coordination. Mr. Suraj Parmekar, Convenor, ESDC, and Dr. Pradnyesh Satardekar, Convenor, Alumni Committee, coordinated the initiative. Students shared positive feedback, appreciating the practical insights into business, pricing and startup ideas that can be initiated from home.
