National Anti-Ragging Day

As per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Centre for Youth (C4Y) – the UGC National Anti-Ragging Monitoring Agency, the college anti-ragging cell in collaboration with the IQAC cell, observed National Anti-Ragging Day on 12th August 2025, followed by Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August 2025. Following activities were conducted:
1. Skit on Anti-Ragging Awareness was performed by Shubham Ambekar, Tanya Carvalho, Kiera Dias, Diya Parab, Renuka Gawade, Sachi Gawade, Ganga Kuri from S.Y.B.A.B.Ed class on 12th August 2025 during the assembly.
2. Anti-Ragging Frame was installed on campus for students and faculty to click photographs/selfies, symbolizing their support for a ragging-free environmentvduring the week.
3. Poster Making Competition was held on 13th August 2025. Students showcased their creativity by preparing posters on the topic – Speak Up! Stop Ragging. First place was secured by Harsha Bandhakar and Simran Parsekar from Fo.Y.B.A.B.Ed Second place was secured by Shreya Kambli and Mrunali Chodankar T.Y.B.Sc. B.Ed and Third place was secured by Priti Palyekar and Melkissa Rodrigues from T.Y.B.Sc. B.Ed.
4. Slogan Writing Competition was held on 14th August 2025. Students actively participated and expressed strong messages through concise and creative slogans. First place was secured by Mansi Gaonkar & Pratiksha Bugde from Fo.Y.B.A.B.Ed. Second place was secured by Anisha Gad & Saisha Naik from T.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed and Third place secured by Prashma Polji & Vishakha Mandrekar from Fo.Y.B.A.B.Ed
