Participation in public lecture by Shri. Somanath S. organized by BITS Pilani

The students from Ganpat Parsekar College of Education had the opportunity to attend a public lecture organized as part of the International IEEE APSCON 2024. The event took place on 24th January 2024 at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Vasco. The Chemistry department selected three students representing the F.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed., S.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed., and T.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed.

The distinguished speaker for the event was Shri. Somanath S., who addressed the audience on various aspects of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Chandrayaan mission, and the future space plans of India. Shri. Somanath S., being associated with ISRO, provided invaluable insights into the country’s space achievements and the vision for the future. The students were enthralled by the possibilities and inspired by the speaker’s vision for the future of Indian space exploration.
