One Day Inter-Collegiate Event- Brahmand
Brahmand is an annual inter collegiate event was organised by the department of Geography on 16th March 2024 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on the theme of Sustainable Development at the college premises. Seven teams from four different colleges participated in the event, from each team 10 participants were allowed to participate in different events. Eight different competitions were organised each competition had a theme which was based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The objectives were to make the students aware the issues in the society and to provide solution from their end which can help in solving the issues like hunger problems, gender inequality and so on. All the competitions were executed in different classroom and competitions were judged by the alumni student, college teachers and invited judges. All the teams showcased their talents in all the event which created a learning environment for all the participants and the audience. PG department of Geography, Govt. College Khandola emerged victorious and St. Xaviers college were the runners up of the event.
