National Youth Day Celebration

The Department of History celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2026 at the Smart Classroom with great enthusiasm and intellectual spirit. The programme featured an insightful talk by the Resource Person, Mr. Audumber Shinde, Chief Editor (Retired), Pudhari Bhavan, St. Inz, Panaji, Goa, who eloquently highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s vision for youth and its relevance in contemporary society. To encourage students’ expression and critical thinking, Essay Writing and Elocution competitions were organised, wherein Disha Dinesh Naik (SYBScBEd) secured First Place in Essay Writing, while Aditya Sawant (FYBScBEd) won First Place and Disha Mardolkar (TYBABEd) secured Second Place in Elocution. The celebration was vibrant and thought-provoking, inspiring students to reflect on the ideals of youth empowerment and national development.
