Food Festival

 

Department of History of Ganpat Parsekar College of Education Harmal Goa organised ‘Food Festival‘ – Celebrating Goan Cuisine on 13/12/2021 for the students of F.Y.B.A.B.Ed . There was overwhelming response of the students for the competition. The judges for the competition were Mr. Pradeep Parab and Mr. Vinit Parsekar. The keynote speaker was Mrs. Kiran Naique full time teacher at Harmal Panchakroshi Higher secondary school and Vocational Studies. She shared her valuable inputs on Goan Cuisine and motivated students to actively participate in various activities. Shri Laxmikant Parsekar, the Chairman of the college welcomed the audience. Mr. Udesh Natekar, the Principal praised the efforts taken by the Department of History. Miss Apurva Gawde introduced the keynote speaker of the programme. Mr Ved Parab introduced the Judges of the Competition.
The different food dishes prepared by the students were Shirvolya and nallacho ros, mangane, patolyo, thali, moogache godshe etc. The entire college actively involved in appreciating and savoring the taste of the delicious Goan Cuisine.
The first place was won by Nidhi korgaonkar and Maithili Bhagat. The second place was won by Yukta Korgaokar and Kalpita Khadpe. The third place was won by Andrea Mascarenhas, Sanika Velingkar and Aleria D’souza. The two consolation prizes were begged by Apurva Gawde, Vatsala Desai and Prachi Gawade , Sanika Chopdekar.
The judges expressed that it was a pleasure Judging the competition. Mr Mayur Arolkar, Assistant professor and incharge of the department proposed the vote of thanks. Srisha Kerkar compared the programme.
